Co Ltd (NAFFCO) is the world\u2019s leading producer and supplier of life safety solutions for all types of high quality firefighting equipment, fire protection systems, fire alarms, security systems, custom-made vehicle such as fire trucks, ambulances, mobile hospitals and airport rescue firefighting vehicles (ARFF).<\/p>\n<p class=\"solutions-i\">NAFFCO has over 10,000 members and over 4 million square feet of manufacturing facilities. It currently exports to over 100 countries worldwide. Some of their better known projects are the Dubai World Central International Airport, Burj Khalifah, Palm Jumeriah \u2013 the world\u2019s largest man-made island, and the Parish Sorbonne University etc.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"color-wt padtso\">Challenge<\/h3>\n<p class=\"solutions-i\">NAFFCO has been aggressively expanding offices and manufacturing facilities across the city of Dubai. NAFFCO management decided to interconnect its satellite facilities with its head office, however due to the relatively long distances between facilities, wire based connectivity was not feasible. MISSAN Computers, a pioneer service provider for a wide array of business needs ranging from wireless, voice &amp; telephony, to business continuity &amp; disaster recovery and CCTV, stepped in to connect the different offices and facilities.<\/p>\n<div class=\"cs-deployment\" style=\"text-align:center; padding:20px 0\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/case-studies\/cs-page\/naffco-deployment.jpg?v=1\" alt=\"NAFFCO Deployment\" title=\"NAFFCO Deployment\"><\/div>\n<h3 class=\"color-wt padtso\">Solution<\/h3>\n<p class=\"solutions-i padtb\">NAFFCO selected Proxim\u2019s high performance Tsunami\u00ae QB point to point solutions to connect its offices within the city. With the head office as the central aggregation point, four point to point connections were deployed to the old office, warehouse (project Store), pipe factory, and fire trucks factory. Two more point to point links were placed for CCTVs and a connection between the old office and brass light as shown above.<\/p>\n<p class=\"solutions-i\"> \u201cWhen NAFFCO approached us for a reliable and cost-efficient solution. NAFFCO is able to aggregate all its sales, marketing, logistics and production information to its central database in the head office. The IT team runs enterprise resource planning applications on its new network that includes heavy applications such as CAD\/CAM, VoIP for free intra-office calls.
