Proxim Stratum System Technician Certification Training Program
This course will walk the student through the end-to-end wireless solution for networks operating in the FCC unlicensed 5 GHz and 6 GHz spectrum.
The students will learn every aspect of the Proxim Product portfolio, how to select the right systems for the solution and how RF systems work.
Students will then learn to review and understand the network design requirements and define the network architecture.
Students will then learn the tools used to evaluate terrain, antenna selection, and map endpoint locations. In addition, this section will cover predicting link performance, RF assessment, and documenting the solution.
Next students will learn about network deployment executing system Bench testing, pre-configuration, selecting mounting assets, radio alignment and system integration into the network.
The final section of this class with focus on Link optimization, monitoring operation, system maintenance, and troubleshooting.

- Gathering and condensing customer/project requirements
- Designing a network for reliable operation and scalability
- Error free deployment techniques
- Link optimization, channel selection and channel mapping
- Scaling the design for future network upgrades
Students will be required to prove their knowledge by passing a final Certification exam.
Students who pass the exam will gain the title of Proxim Certified Wireless Associate.
